Vrbo Payments
Allow hosts on Vrbo Partner Connection to select Vrbo as the merchant of record, meaning Vrbo processes the payment, deducts commission, and transfers payouts net of commission.
Hospitable will be one of the first property management systems to launch the feature at the beginning of 2027.

Have Hospitable pay VRBO invoices on my behalf
AS A host with reservations on the new VRBO 12% commission fee structure (those after Oct 29, 2026 or so with id prefix
VRBO-) where Hospitable is the merchant of record (not Stripe),I WANT Hospitable withhold the 3.9% fee from my payout and pay the VRBO 3.9% fee invoices on my behalf,
SO THAT I don’t have to worry about those invoices or paying them and there’s only one financial transaction I need to consider for any given reservation.

We hear you @Marnie Adams. It's a temporary setup that we are working to change.
Vrbo has a brand new setup called Vrbo Payments in which they process the payment, deduct commission, and transfer your payout net of commission. Hospitable will be one of the first property management systems to launch the feature at the beginning of 2027. It should be a much simplified process that matches what you are describing.

Allow Vrbo to remain Merchant of Record on Partner Connection
Vrbo was able to take care of payments, including tax, took the commission fee, much easier deposit which can hold up to 2 weeks much easier for hosts, and upsell if needed. We really hope hospitable can allow VRBO to remain merchant of record even on partner connection because the payment process was much more smooth compared to the current partner way now. Or allow me to go back to the previous way without the partner, only use hospitable for texting and calendar sync. Thank you.

Hi @Carol Xie that's unfortunately not available today. Vrbo is making progress on a new “Vrbo Payments” solution to do just this. We’ll likely be integrating it at some point in 2027 when it becomes available.
