    This functionality is critical for smooth operations. I just had to cancel one guest’s existing reservation, along with refunding his initial deposit and cancelling future payments. Simultaneously, I had to create a new reservation manually, collect credit card information, charge the card, set up charges for the two remaining payments prior to checking in, and start all over with automated messaging. Not only is this a lot of logistical work for me, it’s additionally time-consuming for the guest. Had the functionality been in place to simply transfer the reservation to another listing, all the current reservation particulars would have carried over.

    I’m running into the same situation where in order to move guests around I have to cancel and issue a new payment - it’s a huge hassle for the guest and I feel uncomfortable as a host asking them. I would love to see this feature implemented so that it’s as simple as a drop down menu for choosing properties. It’s a critical feature implementation for me as a host. Any ETA on it?

    This should be a priority for Hospitable. It is clunky, inefficient, and a nuanced for our customers if we need to move them to a different listing for whatever reason.

    The ability to do this will keep properties on the platform and money in everyone's pocket... Including Hospitable with Direct Booking.

    This is possible with Guesty and Hostaway possibly with all the other PMS as well. Not having this feature makes a mess on the calendar and owner statements when we move guests to another Flat due to certain circumstances without having to wait for guests to respond to an alteration request. If this feature doesn’t become available soon, I would have to look at alternatives.

    This feature is CRITICAL for my business as we operate many properties in the same block and often move guests from 1 property to another for a variety of reasons, such as;

    • Putting them in properties closer together

    • Calendar management to allow for fewer 1-night empty bookings

    • Putting people on the ground floor vs the top floor

    • And many, many other things

    This is an absolute deal breaker (I moved to Hospitable in April), and if this feature isn’t added soon, I will definitely be moving to another CM quickly.

    This is a basic feature that should have been made available when the platform was created. I don’t know any other CM that DOESN’T have this feature.

    I had Cloudbeds before switched to Hospitable , one great feature that I enjoyed was to be able to move one guest from one apartment to a different apartment I’m tge same property. Simpli by Graci g it and mo Ing it. I have 9 listings In the same location so sometimes one apartment is our if orden or had a late check out and I can simply move the guest from apartment 101 to 102. Or do an up grade from 101 to 104 etc.

    This is a critical need for properties that have damage from a guest checking out. or if you are looking to upgrade a valued repeat guest.

    Love this. I'd like to even take bookings from guests and move them into other properties we book on Airbnb or direct and reopen our dates…really helpful if guests inquire about dates you don't have available too you can take booking and route messages from the original hosts through to guest like a travel agent would…

    Even transfer the reservation into another persons name, for when a booking party is making the reservation for another person who is staying at the property, essentially a co-host/co-tenant situation.
