I agree this is crucial to know if the guest will even be communicative. This is something we need to know to leave reviews as well as Ensure hours, property of secured and safe, etc.

I'm having a hard time committing to your messaging. Without these. I find myself always going back to Airbnb. I think this is a critical one to be on par with airbnb's messaging and help us transfer over. I'm trying to spend less time on Airbnb, and messaging is the big one

This is now available in AirBnb's system and you can turn this off from the hosts end. If this fed through to Hospitable, that would make things much simpler.

Anyone else not want to be FORCED to visit Airbnb to see if a message was read?!

    I have this problem too.

Since few weeks ago, Even though I read messages in inbox, the airbnb messages stay unread.

It would be great to have an option to turn read receipts on/off as with most comms platforms.

I have to go directly to Air to see these at the moment...

I've actually seen how this works in the wild with Houfy (for direct bookings at least). It's slick (just like Airbnbs). They've gone a level up and included IP too. Check this out. https://prnt.sc/8b3tFX8xMBYl

Confirmation if a Guest or Co-Host has read a message

Enable seen/read receipts to ensure communication is getting received. Also to know if co-host is aware of a problem so that they can pick it up.
