Include OTA cancelation policy in Inbox/Reservation Details
For ALL bookings, not just direct… please include the OTA’s cancelation policy that applied on the booking when it’s sent over from the OTA into Hospitable. With Airbnb as a co-host, I can see a listing’s cancelation policy. BUT as a 2nd user in Hospitable, I don’t have access to primary users’ VRBO or BDC accounts, so when guests ask for refunds, it’d be great to know what the cancelation policy was when they booked.
Support: If what you need is specifically “show the exact cancellation policy that applied at the time of booking, and make it visible to secondary users,” then that’s something we can capture as a product requirement.
It would involve normalizing incoming OTA policy codes, taking a snapshot of the mapped policy at the moment the reservation is imported, and displaying it in both the Reservation Details and the Inbox. I can definitely see why you’d want it.
