Options for messages sent via public API
I’d love to see an communication options for messages sent via Public API, for things like HostBuddy AI and others where we can have the messages to come from the co-host instead of only the listing owner. The owner’s I co-host for do not really interact with guests, so when automated messages send from their account it can confuse a guest and seem like too many people involved in a conversation.

Thanks Luke! We’ve already started working on adding the functionality, and are targeting end of the week for a release.

Thank you, brother. Just got it implemented throughout our system (Python) today.
Tested working great.
In our case, we have a Host Schedule Google Calendar, and the system just checks to see who's working that day on the Google Calendar and then assigns the sender_id

Yes! This is why I can’t use host buddy on cohost accounts, when the message isn’t sent by me the only actually helping guests it’s confusing to guests and frustrating for me because I couldn’t edit any of the messages. I’ve submitted this to hospitable and host buddy several times, it’s crucial

Yes, please.
Since we know it's capable of sending from different authenticated users in the Hospitable inbox, surely it can be implemented into the API.

Hey @mrschavis87@gmail.com! It sounds like your request is to really define who is sending the message? Currently, all messages sent via the API come from the host who is the listing owner. We can certainly look into providing the ability to optionally select a different host.

Yes! That’s it I guess. Support suggested I list this here as a feature request and I wasn’t quite sure how to explain it but that sounds correct. When you’re sending messages from Hospitable you can define who messages come from, but for things connected via Public API we do not have that option and this would be SO helpful! I’m sure it’s easier said then done, but would certainly be a huge bonus

(API) The ability to send messages from different authenticated users
At the moment, using the Hospitable API messages can only be sent from the listing owner. But in the inbox you can send from any authenticated user. It would be extremely helpful to send from different users, let's say the co-host for that day, to keep the continuity and prevent messaging from different people. Our guests mention it sometimes.
