Send booking receipt to guests for accounting purposes
Problem statement
Business guests frequently request formal receipts for their stays to submit to their companies for accounting/reimbursement
Hospitable currently does not provide a way to generate or send itemized receipts to guests after their stay, particularly for OTA bookings like Booking.com
Hosts must manually create receipts outside the platform for each guest request
Current workaround
Hosts manually create receipts for each guest who requests one, spending approximately 10 minutes per request.
Impact
Significant time waste: 10 minutes per receipt request adds up quickly for hosts with frequent business travelers
Manual process increases risk of errors in pricing, VAT calculations, or guest information
Delays in responding to guest requests for receipts
Unprofessional guest experience compared to competitors who offer this feature
Proposed solution
Enable hosts to send a formal receipt to guests based on the booking price and VAT information that Hospitable already has in the system. The receipt should be sendable on-demand when a guest requests it (similar to functionality available in other property management systems).

My simple fix (for now) - doesnt the guest get a paid receipt? Somewhere? Couldn't it be emailed to a guest, and the host just gets a copy? Seems really easy to take the reservation details screen that we hosts see, and pop those fields into an email

We have these requests from many guests to provide them an invoice. Can you please have this implemented ASAP?

This is a must feature, good for account recording as well, now quite trouble to do it manually, auto generate invoice for direct and manual bookings will be great!

Hello there Is anything in progress for this feature?
If I’m not wrong an electronic invoice will be mandatory for all transactions in UE starting on 2026
