I keep finding myself wishing I could notate my custom codes, canned responses, messaging rules, and notification rules — with notes that only I would see. Just a place to describe its purpose, or maybe some sort of maintenance notes (e.g. indicating that it needs further refinement, or “if you change THIS, don’t forget to also change THAT”. Just a freeform description field for internal use only.
