Custom Receipts
I want the ability to create a custom receipt for my guests which shows them ALL fees and allows me to Label fees the way I want to Label them. For example I want the ability to combine “Host fees” and “Guest Service Fee” as one line item called “AirBnb fees” so that guest understand exactly what that is. With the new AirBnb changes where they will now be hiding all fees (including theirs) in our nightly rate, we should have the ability to generate custom receipts for guests which will help them understand the fee structure and encourage future direct bookings.

Ever since AirBnb made the change to hide their fees in my nightly rate, I’ve seen an uptick in Lower than 5 star ratings for “Value.” This is understandable because guests think they’re rating you on the value of the entire stay without any insight into how much of their payment is actually going to AirBnb. If they were rating me only on the nightly rate, that might encourage them to score me higher on Value.
FEE TRANSPARENCY
What I would love, is a feature that helps me communicate to guests where all of their money is going so they have full transparency and can see exactly how much AirBnb is taking in fees (not just on the nightly rate but also on the Pet Fee and Cleaning Fee).
I want the ability to create a custom receipt for my guests which shows them all fees and allows me to Label the fees the way I want to Label them. Or even just a simple one line “AirBnb fee” that calculates the total fees (The 15.5% + the fees on the Pet and Cleaning fee and any other fees they collect) and display it as a one line item in a custom receipts that I can then automate and send the to the guest after booking (or whenever).
