Display # of characters allowed and entered in property fields

Since we need to go through hospitable to change listing titles, descriptions, summaries etc for it to change on both airbnb and our direct sites, a character count is needed to stay in compliance with airbnb limitations.

    Provide # of characters allowed and entered in Summary and Spaces fields

    When entering text into the Summary and Spaces fields when creating or updating a listing, provide the total number of characters allowed as well as the number of characters already input. It’s very frustrating to type text then find out when you save it that you’ve entered too much, but not know the limit or how close you are to the limit.

    Show character count for property titles on each connected platform

    Problem Statement

    • Hospitable doesn't display a character count or limit indicator when editing the property title
    • This applies across all connected platforms (Airbnb, Vrbo, etc.), each of which has its own character limit
    • Users have no visibility into how many characters remain as they type

    Current Workaround

    • Users must type their title, attempt to save, and if it fails due to exceeding the limit, shorten it and try again
    • This trial-and-error process is repeated for each platform

    Impact

    • Wasted time going back and forth trying to fit titles within platform limits
    • Frustration and confusion when titles are silently truncated or rejected
    • Inconsistent property titles across platforms due to different character limits

    Proposed Solution

    • Display a character count (e.g., "45/50 characters") when editing the property title in Hospitable
    • Show the character limit specific to each connected platform

    Unlock

    • Users would have clear visibility into character limits for each platform while editing
    • Faster, smoother property title management without trial-and-error
    • Consistent, optimized titles across all connected platforms
